Live Lampworking at Music Festivals & Community events

There’s something special about bringing a torch to a music festival.

At this year’s Wormtown Music Festival I set up my shop right in the middle of the gathering and offered free lampworking classes to the youth of the community. Watching kids and teens shape their first piece of glass under the trees was the best part of the weekend. Passing on a craft that mixes fire, focus, and creativity never gets old.

As the night settled in I did live lampworking for the crowd by the bonfire. The glow of the torch, the music drifting through the air, and people stopping to watch molten glass take form, it felt like the heart of what these festivals are about. Community, curiosity, and sharing the moment.

I’m already looking ahead to the next one. My next event is the Vintage Bazaar, where local friends’ band Town Meeting will be playing. I’m looking forward to the autumn weather, the music, and doing it all over again , shop open, torch lit, and classes available for anyone who wants to try.
